It can appear to be so difficult to understand the importance of this moment, this time to-gather, so-to-speak.
We appear to have trained our minds to think of the future. This happens quickly, especially by school years. We're looking forward to moving through each level, and graduating.
And then we ponder ways to earn our keep and to buy the things we want in this world. We often travel back in time to find elements that can help direct us to our future.
Now never seems to happen consciously. It's either the past or the future. And the only time you become present is if you are feeling some pain. And then it's only for a few seconds as you look to your past to see what you think caused this pain.
And we think of a future that's pain-free while we are immersed in pain. You cannot bring to you that which you cannot feel.
We are taught that thinking only of this present moment will not help you get to where you want to go. You have to plan, think about it some more, look more closely at your past , and on and on. We spend our time 'thinking' rather than 'doing'.
Stop planning your future by neglecting your present. What can you do today, in this moment that will bring you to the present moments you desire? Not tomorrow, but today. What can you do in this moment, even if it's just a shift in how you think about something, that would bring you more joy?
If you don't know yet, that's okay too. But make time in your present moment to feel your presence here now. It sounds easy and simple, right?
Do you think life shouldn't or couldn't be this easy? Ahhh, there's the rub. Change that line of thinking and accept that life is simple. Life is joy.
Life is energy and the Universe will give you exactly what your dominant thoughts are sending out. Be a Receiver of goodness. Attract all the goodness that is available just for you! Do it now.
May this day serve you well.
Love and Blessings, Dallas
